How do I create a New Employee?

From the navigation bar, go to Settings > Employees.

Click Create Employee from the shortcuts panel.

Fill in the required fields:

Username

Password
-
Type (definitions provided below)

First Name
-
Last Name
-
Email
-
Mobile Phone
-

(Optional) Enter any additional information.

Click Save.

Employee Settings and Flags
The flags in this section are optional, but enabling Track Commission for Employees is important for Destination Marketing Organizations and Resellers.
How do Employee types work?
The system allows the following user types:
Employee Type | Definition |
---|---|
Accounts | Access to all aspects of the software, except managing other users. The default menus visible to this user group are geared towards reporting and the functionality required by an accounting team. |
Administrator | These are essentially the super-users in the system. They have access to all aspects of the software, including the management of other users. |
Dispatcher | These user types have access to the desktop with limited information on inventories and bookings. They are not able to edit bookings but do have the ability to use the search bar to look up bookings. |
Driver/Guides | These user types have access to the desktop with limited information on inventories and bookings. They only have access to pulling manifests on activities to which the driver/guide has been assigned. |
Manager | These user types have access to all aspects of the software that is related to managing bookings and activities. The default menus visible to this user group will have limited access to financial reporting. These users have the ability to overbook an activity. |
Reservations | These user types have access to reservations, payments and refunds. They have the ability to create, edit and remove bookings. They are also able to generate various manifests. The default menus visible to this user group will have limited access to financial reporting. These users do not have the ability to overbook an activity. |
Sales/Marketing | These user types will have the same access as the Reservations users but with no access to creating and editing activities/products/packages. |
How do I manage Employee Permissions?
Your Zaui system allows customization of Employee Permissions for different employee types.

Navigate to Settings > Employee Permissions.

Enable or disable access to various settings.
Each employee type has default permissions, but you can further adjust access based on individual requirements.
Manifest Access Settings
To manage staff access to Manifests:

Go to Settings > System Settings.

Scroll to Zaui User Interface Settings > Desktop.

Adjust settings to allow or restrict:

Entire Day Manifests

Individual Manifests

What do I do if I forgot my log-in password?
What do I do if I forgot my log-in password?
If you forget your Zaui log-in password:
-
Click “Forgot?” on the login screen.

Enter your username.
-
You will receive a notification with a link to reset your password.
As an Administrator, you can change the password for a user by clicking on their profile, entering in a new password, confirming the new password and clicking Save.
