Overview
In order to help tourism operators improve their product listings and/or understand why products might not be shown to potential customers, Google Things to do provides a daily feed of issues, on a per-product basis. The error messages associated with your products are shared and can be reviewed within your Zaui system.
Reviewing GTTD Errors
The list of product issues relating to your GTTD feed can be found in your Zaui system within the Google Things to do integration settings. Additionally, if you have error messages relating to your GTTD feed, they will be displayed in a warning bar in your Zaui system.

- Go to Settings > Marketplace.
- Scroll to find Google Things to do and click the title to view the settings.

Scroll down the page until you see a table containing a list of all the activities that are enabled for Google Things to do in one tab, and 'What Needs Attention' in a second tab:
Correcting GTTD Errors
If there are any issues with your activity feed to Google, an error bar will appear in your Zaui system.
This message will appear if there is an issue with any of your products on any of the four GTTD modules, regardless of whether the activity is relevant for that module. Therefore, some of the error messages that will appear in your feed can be ignored.

Review Google Things to do Modules for a description of the types of tourism operation suitable for each module.
To correct a particular GTTD error, click the Activity Name in the What Needs Attention tab, then click to the Google Settings tab. For more on information on configuring GTTD in your system, head over to Connecting Zaui with Google Things to do.
Please allow up to 24 hours for updates to your Google Things to do settings to take effect. |
GTTD Error Messages
Broadly speaking there are two types of issues: Errors and Warnings
❗ Error: Errors may result in the product not being accepted by Google which could affect it's eligibility.
⚠️ Warning: Warnings don't affect the eligibility status, but might affect how and where the product is ranked in search results.
Taking steps to resovle errors should take precendece over resolving warnings.
What Needs Attention Overview
The What Needs Attention table shows a list of all GTTD issues, sorted by Activity Name
Error Type: Indicates whether the issue is an Error or a Warning
Error Message: This is the error message Google has reported back
Zaui Recommendation: The course of action Zaui recommends to rectify the error
Module Type: This is the module that the error relates to. Refer to Connecting Zaui with GTTD for more information
Status: The status will either be 'Request Review' or 'Review Pending'. This is to help you keep track of what updates have been actioned.
Important note for tour operators:
If you see an error message stating you're not eligbile for the Operator Booking Module, check that your Google Business profile Category (either your primary or a secondary category) is be one of the following:

What Needs Attention Breakdown
The following series of tables provide a breakdown of all possible product issues, which module they impact and how they affect where a product can be shown.
As we mentioned in our Connecting Zaui with Google Things to do article, there are four different modules available within GTTD. It is important to be aware of which module(s) are relevant for your type of operation so you can know which error messages in your feed can be ignored and which need to be addressed. To help with this, each table of issues indicates which module it is applicable to.
