Overview
When you use a web browser, like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox, the browser saves some information from websites you visit in its cache and cookies (no, not the edible kind ). Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
This article will walk you through how to clear your cache with different web browsers.
Google Chrome
- On your computer, open a new Google Chrome browser.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files", check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
Firefox
- On your computer, open a new Firefox browser.
- Click on the menu button and select Options.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data...
- Remove the checkmark in from of Cookies and Site Data.
- With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.
- Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
Internet Explorer 11
- In a new Internet Explorer browser, click on Tools > Internet Options (if you don't see this, press the Alt key to show the menu bar).
- In the General Tab, under the Browsing History section, click Delete.
- In the Delete Browsing History window, select the checkboxes for Temporary Internet Files and website files and Cookies and website data.
- Click Delete.
Once you have cleared the cache on your browser, refresh the current page within Zaui. This will force your browser to grab all of the latest files from the Zaui Server. |
