Every new Zaui system includes a Default Booking Portal, but you also have the flexibility to create multiple portals for your Online Booking Engine to cater to different customer needs

Benefits of Having Multiple Booking Portals
Creating multiple booking portals allows you to:

Manage different online brands.

Customize booking engines for specific customer personas.

Assign unique branding, blackout dates, activities, and products to each portal.

Set up portals in different languages.

How to Create a New Booking Portal

Navigate to Settings > Online Bookings > Portals.

By default, you will have one preconfigured booking portal named Default.

Click Create New Portal from the shortcuts panel.
Configuring a New Booking Portal
General Portal Settings
-
Portal Name – Identifies the new booking portal in your system and reports.
-
Portal URL – Defines the URL path for accessing this portal online.
-
Portal Valid Start Date – The first active date for the portal.
-
Portal Valid End Date – The last active date for the portal.
-
Enable Internet Bookings – Checked by default. If disabled, customers attempting to book online will see a custom Disable Internet Bookings Message.

Alert My Staff When a Booking Occurs – Sends an email to the Reservations Email in System Settings whenever an online booking is made.

Send Individual Activity PDFs – Sends PDF vouchers for each activity in the confirmation email.

Send Bar Code Images in Emails – Generates and sends individual barcodes for automated check-in.

Enable Printable Ticket/Voucher – Provides a link to a printable ticket or voucher.

Display Sold Out Tours – Shows fully booked tours on the home page (without the ability to book).

Display Spots Remaining Per Activity – Displays the remaining available spots.

Enable Calendar Filter – Allows customers to filter tours by date using a calendar widget.

Auto Collapse Activity/Product Groups Online – Collapses package and product categories for better navigation.

Combine Point-to-Point Activities – Groups all point-to-point activities under a shuttle and scheduled service category.

Point-to-Point Group Name – Customizes the category label (e.g., “Jasper Shuttles”).

Allow Promo Codes with Affiliate Bookings – Permits affiliates to use promo codes (note: affiliates already receive commissions or net rates).

Default Language – Sets the default language for the Online Booking Engine.

Custom Home Link URL – Redirects users to a custom website homepage instead of the default portal homepage.

Payment Gateway – Assigns a unique payment gateway to this portal (see [this article] for setup instructions).

Enable Multi-Currencies – Allows customers to pay in their chosen currency (see [this article] for setup details).

Display Lowest Price Calculation Per Activity – Displays the lowest available price.

Enable Deposit-Only for Online Purchases – Allows charging a flat or percentage deposit, leaving a remaining balance due.
Date Restrictions and Threshold Settings
You can configure the minimum and maximum booking times for specific activity types to:

Limit last-minute bookings (e.g., prevent bookings within 24 hours of departure).

Restrict future bookings (e.g., limit bookings to within 12 months).
Booking Portal Activity, Product and Package Settings
Allow ANY Activity | This will allow any activity that you have configured + its published category to be sold online while taking into consideration your portal start/end dates as well as the restriction dates. |
Allow ONLY these Activity Groups |
This enables only a subset of categories to be sold through the online booking portal. |
Allow ANY Merchandise Products | This will allow any product that you have configured and published to be sold online. |
Allow ONLY these Merchandise Product Groups | This will enable only a subset of merchandise to be sold through the online booking portal. |
Gift Certificate Settings
Enable one or both of the following options to allow online gift certificate sales:

Offer Custom Amounts – Customers enter a custom gift certificate value.

Offer Preset Denominations – Customers choose from predefined amounts (e.g., $25, $50, $75, $100).
Analytics and Adwords Configuration
Track your portal traffic statistics by setting up:

Google Analytics Tracking – Monitor visitor activity and bookings.
-
Google Adwords Conversion Tracking – Measure the success of online ad campaigns.
Internet Booking Branding Management
Customize your Online Booking Engine branding:

Primary Colour – Affects calendar dates, activity page paths, and cancellation policy titles.

Secondary Colour – Affects tour names, duration, time, total price, and add-on package titles.
-
Call to Action Colour – Affects buttons such as “Add to Cart,” “Continue,” “Checkout”.
