What is Copernican
Copernican empowers your guests with a unique opportunity to enhance their booking experience when purchasing activities through Zaui. With Copernican's "Cancellation+" feature, customers gain valuable cancellation flexibility that goes beyond the standard "all sales are final" policy giving your guest cancellation flexibility and peace of mind.
Adding Copernican to your Zaui System
- Add the Copernican integration to your Zaui system by going to Settings > Marketplace > Productivity
- Click the "Copernican" title to enter the settings
- Click the Enable Copernican radio button followed by +Save App Settings
Get In Touch With Copernican
Once you have Copernican enabled you will need to reach out to your Copernican representative.
Your representative will help you amend the customer's policy for each activity, as well as amend the confirmation email that gets sent out to guests to mention if cancellation+ was purchased. They will also help you with phrasing your policy when a guest wants to cancel and the steps it would require.
Creating Cancellation+ as a product in your Zaui system
Each product created must first belong to a Product Category.
- From the top navigation bar go to Products > Product Category
- In the left menu select Create Category
- Name the category and check Always publish to default booking engine and Available on Zaui API?
- Save your changes
Now that you've created the Product Category, it's time to create the Product.
- From the top menu, navigate to Products > Product List
- Name the Product and connect it to the Product Category you just created.
Uncheck Publish to Internet?. This will hide it from view and only show it as an additional option when an activity is booked.
If you would like to apply this to all your activities, you can check the box labeled Available online for any activity/tour? - Under Pricing Information select the Price Type (flat rate or percentage) and enter the value
- Under Inventory Configuration select Allow a free sell. This will allow you to not limit sales of Cancellation+
- Save your new product
Adding Copernican to an Activity
- From the navigation bar go to Activities > Activity List > [Selected Activity]
- Navigate to the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS tab
- Scroll down to Merchandise Products Available on this Activity/Tour and click + Add
- Link the product you just created and save the changes
This is how your new Cancellation+ product pop-up will appear after a guest select an activity to book
Amending the Activity Cancellation Policy
- From the navigation bar go to Activities > Activity List > [Selected Activity]
- Navigate to the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS tab
- Scroll down to see Activity Specific Cancellation/Reservation Policy
- Here you can amend your current policy to incorporate Cancellation+
Amending Your Email Notifications
- From the top navigation bar select Settings > Notifications
- Select the notification you want to edit. For example, "Zaui Default Booking Confirmation"
- Scroll down to the email section below, and you will be able to amend the text in the box above the 'Print Tickets' button
- Save your changes
