Scenario 1:
I have a activity which has different components that I can sell on
it. For example, I have a sight-seeing tour where my clients are purchase
a one-way or round trip via coach, with the optional float plane component in
either direction.
Perhaps I would also like to sell a disposable camera package for their
tour.
Scenario 2:
I have an activity called The King Swing where the base rate is $99/person and wish to add the option of a photo package at $40 and a DVD set at $42.
How would I configure my system for this type of activity?
1. Create
your additional pricing options in the system. This is done from the Settings | Manage
Activity Pricing Options section.
· You
will add 2 new pricing options. Float Plane One-way and Disposable Camera Package (or the photo package and the DVD set)
2. Next,
set up your tour/activity. See our
description on how to add a new activity.
3. Next,
configure the additional activity pricing options in the system. Bring up your new activity to make modifications
to it. From the Manage All Activities section, click on the name of your new tour.
· In
the Pricing Options section, select
the Float Plane One-way and set a
unit price for it. Do the same thing for
the Disposable Camera option -- or the photo package and the DVD set.
4. Then,
at the time of creating a new reservation for this tour these new optional
pricing items will be available. You
will have to provide a quantity for each. They will be attached to the booking for the user and will ultimately
show on various reports in the system.
These new activities options will appear on the booking screen for the activity as additional options for purchase.
